Hello from Roma, Italy
I'm just not sure it matters
his only start against the Cadinals in his career was 2 ER in 5 IP. He should be on a strict pitch count and limited to 5 IP or so.
Hey Handyman, great site. Quick question - I am in a 12-team very deep mixed dynasty league with 30 minors. Should I start Scherzer tonight?!?
Been on vacation with the family. I'll have some Sally reports up soon.
I'm missing me some Baseball Handyman.
I think I'm going to be doing an APR piece where I take the major top 100 lists and average the rankings out. I find that helps me a great deal.
aren't copying each other as in years past.
Nick, I agree, but I think it's a good thing. To see a guy like Daryl Jones rank top 50 on ESPN, but not on the other two shows the top 100's simply
is it me or do the top 100 lists have a lot of big questions this year? more so then other years i mean
With Allen, it's not the power I'm worried about. I wonder if he will hit his weight.
I saw Allen play in Kannapolis year before last and I left the game much more impressed with Chris Carter (OAK).
I have a hard time buying into Strieby. At 23, he's a little old for his 2008 power surge to really put him on the map.
Who are your power hitting breakout candidates for 2009? I'm keeping an eye on Brandon Allen and Ryan Strieby.
The Cubs received a 1.625 million Heilman who can = the production of the 9 million Marquis who they dumped. GREAT MOVE CUBS!
